UT Baseball Now Has The Most Talented Coaching Staff In The NCAA

After 13 major league seasons, Troy Tulowitzki is leaving his childhood dream of playing shortstop for the New York Yankees to fulfill every man’s life dream, coaching at the University of Texas. Troy had a hell of a career in The Big Show. Drafted in the 1st round by the Colorado Rockies in 2005, he became a 5-time all-star, 2-time Gold Glove, 2-time Silver Slugger and accumulated a 44.2 career WAR.

UT now hopes Troy’s talents will translate to the coaching world, because the baseball team is in desperate need of some middle infield help.  After losing our starting shortstop to an Achille’s Tendon injury pre-season, head coach, David Pierce, is hoping Troy will ignite a spark in the infield that will get them out of the basement of the Big 12.  As a top 50 all-time shortstop, I think Troy can be just that guy. Now maybe we can get Taylor Jungmann to come back from Japan to help out with all the new pitching.
