When Jason Witten retired at the end of the 2017 season, his hair looked like this:
Just hanging on for dear life. It is what is it though, because while his hair may have stopped growing, it didn’t stop him from having a Hall of Fame career.
But here’s where things get interesting. A few months after his retirement announcement, he goes and takes the Monday Night Football broadcast booth job and BOOM:
Hair for days. Maybe even weeks or months. Just incredible flow. But as any balding man will tell you, you don’t just cross your fingers, pray for hair and poof it comes. There’s only one way to get it back; implants aka PEDs. Now for the doubters and fanboys who say – Witten is too honorable, too classy, and just too damn good of a man to have taken PEDs, then let me ask you this – Why after coming out of retirement, did Witten show up to training camp looking like this:
Makes you think. Was his “retirement” all part of a bigger plan? Fake retire, take PEDs, come out of retirement for the 2019 season stronger than ever and try one last time to finally win a Super Bowl? I would like to think it was simply a cosmetic decision but unfortunately for Witten, that won’t stop people from asking.
