Tony, man. The dude can do it all. Football, golf, broadcast, predict plays and now chess? Incredible.
Tony looked legit at chess too. Fast pace, calm, raw, smooth, solid game face and even remembered to use the little button after making a move. Clearly, he was prepared for this moment.
Sources though told me Tony ended up losing. Which then brought me back down to earth and reminded me Tony in fact cannot do it all.
He can’t win playoff games.
If he can’t win playoff games, he’ll never be able to win a professional chess match. Which makes me think despite the rumors, he’s staying put in the booth.
