Antonio Brown To The Cowboys?

Today on 105.3 The Fan, Cowboys legend Michael Irvin speaking in a segment on what the Boys should do to turn the ship around in Dallas said “go pick up Antonio Brown.”

He continued on: “I’m not gonna lie, desperation makes you think about a lot of things.”

“We ain’t got no time to sit up riding the high horse, like we’re too good for this and we’re too good for that. We need some H-E-L-P right now! Real help!

“You need Amari to get back.”

“Unless you want to go pick up Antonio Brown until Cooper gets back. What do you guys think about that?”

Irvin was relentless when questioned about Antonio Brown’s past, “I don’t care. I don’t care about media relations or a public relations nightmare. I have absolutely …” The Cowboys legend briefly pausing, seemingly questioning his own thought process “Maybe,” Irvin summarized, “we should just go pick him up for a week or two.”

Look, I would be lying if I said I hated this move. I honestly think Mike is on to something here.

Before you kick, scream and call me and Mike idiots, let me walk you through my thought process:

Does AB bring baggage? Yes.

Is he a weirdo? Yes.

Is he absolutely not a standup guy? Yes.

Does he fart on his Doctor? Yes.

If I had a daughter, is it true I would not want her to marry AB? Yes.

Are the Cowboys on a three-game losing streak? Yes.

Is Amari Cooper out for at least the next two weeks? Yes.

Do the Cowboys need help/depth at WR ASAP? Yes.

Is AB hands down the best receiver in the entire League? Yes.

Would Dak to AB be must watch TV? Yes.

Could he make an immediate impact on the Cowboys? Yes.

Would our odds of winning a Super Bowl increase with AB on the field? Yes.

There you have it. Yeses across the board. Sign him up, Jerry.
