About damn time.
Last seasons magical run through the NIT tournament where we eventually eviscerated Lioscomb 81-66 to win the Championship is FINALLY being celebrated.
For the record, that’s now 5 NIT Ships on the banner for the boys in burnt orange.
Looks good too.
A lot of people are saying Shaka‘s on the hot seat coming into this season but after landing Will Baker and installing this updated NIT banner, the Frank Erwin Center just got a little more intimidating.
Teams, seasons, fans and friends may come and go but banners last forever.
