Why Luka Doncic Is Better Than Lebron James

Luka has been likened to LeBron before he even stepped foot on an NBA hardwood floor, but the moment he finally did, he instantly lived up to the hype. In Luka’s rookie season he averaged 20.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game, which are eerily similar numbers to Lebron’s rookie season; 20.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game.

But now after playing a full 76 career games in the League, the comparison to Lebron has to feel like a giant insult to Luka. Because stats don’t lie and Luka has now outperformed Lebron in every single category; points, rebounds and assists.

If I’m Luka, a comparison to any player other than Michael Jordan would surely piss me off. Just take a look at the highlights from the last time Luka and LeBron two squared off, as you can expect, things did not go well for the ex-King of The NBA:
