NFL Network analyst and Hall of Famer Deion Sanders has emerged as a candidate for the Florida St. head coaching job, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo. A fascinating situation that could unfold.— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) November 8, 2019
Coach Primetime. Love it.
He’s got to wear his signature bandana on the sidelines, right? Could we be looking at this in the near future:
Obviously, it would be a wild move by FSU to hire Deion. Paying a guy millions of dollars to run one of the biggest programs in the nation that has zero college or pro coaching experience. Interesting to say the least.
You got to wonder if this in fact does happen will Deion take on more of a mascot/recruiter role than an actual coach?Personally, I think he would bring more to the table actually suiting up and playing for FSU than being their head coach.
But even if they do want Deion, does Deion take the call?
