Does anyone love a V-Neck more than Luka? pic.twitter.com/gF29PijMIh

Luka nearly ripped his jersey in half, then kept playing 😅 pic.twitter.com/HcooSDmM6q

V-necks. An incredible controversial piece of clothing. And almost impossible to pull off. Yet everyone in their lifetime has owned one.
But over the years, the V-neck seems to have lost its flair. People of all ages, shapes and sizes have sworn it off. It just became too polarizing of a look.
Which is sad. Because fashion is meant to provoke. To cause people to talk. Judge. Stare. Gasp. Gossip.
But somewhere over the years, people have forgotten that.
Then tonight happened. Mavs v. Lakers on a Friday night. With Luka struggling early on going 7-of-12 from the line in the first half, he took matters into his own hands. Enough was enough. He had to get comfortable and bring back the Euro deep V-neck:

Love it.
Just like that, Luka brought the V-neck back into the public conversation and on the forefront of everyone’s minds.
Even Coach Carlisle was getting in on the action after getting ejected from the game:

Trendsetter. It’s one of the many attributes that makes Luka great.
