December 13, 2015 could have been a day where everything changed for the Cowboys. Where they finally restored their rightful place as the No. 1 franchise in NFL history. Tony Romo could have inked himself into the record books as one of the greatest QB1s to have ever put on a blue and silver uniform. Jerry finally could be given the opportunity to prove he’s in fact not a delusional, self absorbed, lunatic owner. And Dez would have secured legendary WR status right next to Michael Irvin.
But unfortunately no football move was made. At least according to NFL refs and new Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy:
