Oklahoma State Star Running Back Chuba Hubbard Says He’s Done With Oklahoma State After Photo Surfaces Of Coach Gundy Wearing An OAN T-Shirt

So this photo surfaced today on twitter. Which if I’m being honest, until about ten minutes ago I had no clue what OAN was or that it even existed. Never had heard of it in my life. But after some light googling eventually learned why — because the outlet is super MAGA and as some people would say, super racist. Hard pass for me. But Gundy on the other hand, seems to be quite the fan:

But you know who is not a fan? This guy:

Yikes! Not great for OK State. Because when your team loses its star RB who has compiled these type of awards off the field:

2018 Russell Okung Award (OSU’s outstanding newcomer)
2019 First-Team All-American (AFCA, Associated Press, FWAA, The Sporting News, Walter Camp, ESPN, CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated)
2019 Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year (Coaches, AP)
2019 Walter Camp Player of the Year Finalist
2019 Doak Walker Award Finalist
2019 First Team All-Big 12 (Coaches, AP)
2019 Maxwell Award Semifinalist
2019 OSU Bob Fenimore Award (Team MVP)

And has the ability to do things like this on the field:

It’s a problem. A problem that a mullet and a “I’m a man, I’m 40” speech is not going to fix.

And if you’re Chuba, why would you come back? Chuba could declare for the NFL right now and his draft stock probably would go up. He absolutely dominated both freshman and sophomore year, there’s not much left for him to prove. Why risk an injury playing for a man he doesn’t believe in or trust?
